The fall 2017 and spring 2018 Windows 10 updates have been causing mass issues with almost all capture cards. For several months, a fix was not known. Or at least not widely known.
I saw this on VH a few days ago:
Quote:
many apps no longer have access to cameras, TV tuners and video recorders. However, this is not a problem or a bug with this new release, it's actually a change that Microsoft is implementing to give users more control over their privacy.
you need to follow these steps:
- Open Settings.
- Click on Privacy.
- Click on Camera (??)
- Turn on the Allow apps to access your camera toggle switch.
- Once you've completed the steps, you also want to make sure to check the list and enable camera access for the apps you want, if they're currently disabled.
^ I've edited this, and made the (??) comment. Cameras?
In the case the feature isn't enabled, click the Change button and turn on the toggle switch.

Can anybody with an ATI 600 USB that suddenly became unusable verify this?
