Error 46 in BeSweet
hello, im using BeSweet1.4 with interface BeSweetGUI0.6b73..
im trying to convert my ac3 file processed by DVD2AVI to mp2 file.. this is from a DVD PAL 16:9 25 fps, and since i want to have my output to 23.976 fps.. i must convert also the audio from 25fps to such value, so i checked the option in the besweetgui, and in SSRC tab set the sample rate to 44100Hz.. the problem is I always got this error saying that "Invalid combination between SSRC values & FRC values. Quiting..." what does this mean? please help.. Thanks.. |
It means that BeSweet cannot resample and change the frame rate at the same time. In the earlier versions you could do that but the result was a disaster.
Doesn't your standalone player like 48kHz audio? |
:( i don't know if my player supports 48kHz but I just want this to be in 44.1kHz because i've read that this will also cause the audio to have syn problem when muxed with video.
is there any other way that i can have this results? thanks for the help.. |
It will cause sync problems on some standalones, but if you want to be sure, you'll have to resample.
One way to deal with the file is to first encode the AC3 file to WAV and then process the WAV file in two stages: first resample it and then do the framerate conversion on the resampled file. Then encode the final result to MP2. |
No need to three operation. You can do the resample while you are converting in wav.

Yes, I'll have to wake up before answering

hello, what kind of wav i'll be using, i tried 5.1 wave when downsampling to 44.1kHz, but i got this error when trying to convert from wav to mp2 and changing the frame rate from 25fps > 23.976 fps..
Error 32: No input-data was found (wrong substream?) Thanks.. |
You have to convert 5.1 -> STEREO wav first (by doin a SSRC at the same time). Then convert stereo wav -> MP2 with the framerate conversion.
I do that anytime so if it does not workn then your ac3 has a problem (did you use ac3fix on it ?) |
Phil,
I've done what you have suggested, i succesfully convert from ac3 > wav stereo and downsampling from 48 > 44.1. I then processed the wav stereo > mp2 and changing frame rate from 25 > 23.976. I then muxed it with bbMpeg, but what was shown in the logs is that the mp2 is 48kHz instead of 44.1kHz, im wondering because i never uses SSRC when transcoding from wav to mp2. I finally, switched back to headache, converting ac3 to mp2 44.1kHz. I decided to give it a try muxing without changing the frame rate to match my video which is NTSC 23.976fps, and miraculously, it worked perfectly. Any explanation on this Phil? Thanks. |

Didi you check the box ? Why don't you ask for besweet to use a log file and display it at screen ? This way you will see exactly what is done ! 48 -> 44.1 is clearcly indicated in the log. More : post this log here please ! Quote:
If it was with a "changeFPS" or "ConverFPS" then there is NOTHING to do on the audio :!: That is absolutly normal. The work on the audio has to be done only in case of "AssumeFPS". |
