BeSweet: Command-line encoding settings error?
I keep getting this
c:\KVCD stuff\BeSweetv1.5b28\BeSweet.exe -core( -input e:\file.wav -output e:\file.mp2 -logfilea C:\KVCD stuff\BeSweetGUIv0.7b4\BeSweet.log ) -ssrc( --rate 44100 ) -toolame( -s 44.1 -m j -r ) I never had this in my previous encodes where I have strange hz, but then I hardly use this prog. can anyoone tell me what to check in BeSweet to stop this happening? Thanks |
whatever is in the "-toolame" parenthesis can be found in the "2lame" tab of besweetGui.
"-m j" is because you encode in joint-stereo mode, that is NOT the thing to do. So go quickly to check that and change to "stereo" or "dual chanel" "-r" is the "force padding bit off" and I really don't know how this was checked on. So unchekc this box. |
I changed it now I have " -m d " ) - change to dual channel in 2Lame, and engine used in 2Lame is mp2enc so don't understand why -toolame is still showing
|
That can't be. Please check carefully what you use, control in the "command line" window the line that will be used when you will press the "to mp2" button and stop asking silly questions.
Eventually switch to toolame then back to mp2enc to restore the correct situation. |
figured it out had total bitrate in 2Lame unchecked, now checked it and the qualtiy of the file is showing like 128/160/192 kps kinda thing.
If I have dual channel checked I still have md showing. What happens to the end file if I uncheck it? Is it a must to have it checked? I find if I uncheck it the command line will only show the hertz quality. |

Can't you do test yourself and see that when you uncheck or change this setting, the "-m..." option change ??? Quote:
