Hello, I have an Olympus W-10 Digital Voice Recorder that holds up to 6 hours in LP mode. Anyways I had heard of a way to use this recorder as a mp3 player by converting the music file into a .val file (the .val file is what Olympus uses to compress and upload files into the recorder), but don't know how.

1. Does anybody know how to make a .val file?

2. Is there any other way to use it as a music player (mp3, wma, etc.)???
