Incorrect vbr header
Hi. I use Besweet to convert avi audio to ac3 direct from the avi, I`ve found that files which VirtualDub report as having an incorrect vbr audio header always end up way out of sync.
Is there a way to correct the header? I`m using it as part of a batch file so if there is a command line option I can add it would solve the problem but I haven`t been able to find anything yet :( |
You should do exactly what is said in the Vdub message : decode the whole audio in a uncompressed WAV and work from it !

I have tried that, sometimes it works but quite often it results in out of sync audio which is shorter in duration than the original.
I noticed VirtualDub can rewrite the header and was wondering if there is any software which can be automatically applied to do this or if Besweet could? Thanks for the reply :) |
Use Madplay to do the MP3(VBR) -> WAV step. It gives far better results than Besweet for that.

Thanks :)
