What's the best AAC/MP4/M4A Encoder?

Hey Guys.

I want to put some MP4 Audio Files on my mobile Phone. Now, I want to know, what's the best encoder out now? And what's the best settings? Compared with an mp3 at 128Kbps how deep can I go with the MP4 bitrate that the audio file has nerly the same quality?

Thanks for you help.

Use Nero AAC encoder. It's the best MP4 audio encoder.
If your mobile supported OGG Vorbis, then that would be the best choice, but I doubt it supports it.

Your're right.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.

What about the quality of these encoded AAC Files?
