KVCD: how do I trim the audio?

Hi all!

I ripped a DVD together with the AC3 audio file, and reencoded this file as mp2... after that I frameserved with DVD2AVI, but cut out the end credits during that operation... how do I trim the audio, so that it stops at that point too, when the video stops?

Just mux with BBMpeg with a time bracket from 0 seconds to end sesconds. Where end seconds is where you cut your credits

 kwag you have this talent to state things that clear in a way that you feel kinda stupid after you got the answer!

I guess in the future I'll let DVD2AVI put out a Wave file as audio, since it's already as long as the video when I cut out the end credits...
Is that wave actually the AC3 file, just as wave?

No. If you tell DVD2AVI to decode the audio instead of demuxing, it'll downmix to regular PCM and you'll lose the chance to use HeadAC3he's special Pro Logic II mode.

Kwag, so what you're saying is that i dont use dvd2avi's wav to make a pro-logic... but ac3 instead from smartripper....? oh boy.... I already did 4 dvd's using that approach....

:(

No. A WAV is a WAV :D. You'll speed up DVD2AVI's process by "Demuxing" to AC3 instead of "Decoding" to WAV
Then take your AC3 and encode it with HeadAC3he.
