Hi folks,

I´m just wondering why in the most headAC3he - guides I´ve found, at the input channels-tab the center is set to "gained by -3 db".
As far as I know most of the time conversations are taking place on the center channel of a DVD.
Don´t you make the problem, that you can´t understand the conversation because often the music or sound effects are to loud, bigger by using this setting?

Hi HAL4711,

I'm not sure about that HAL4711
As far as I can tell in my Dolby Prologic II system, every KVCD I encode is set with the default HeadAC3he surround 2 parameters, and the left, center, and right channels sound identical to my original DVDs.
Only in the rear channels there is a slightly less separation than from the original 5.1 Dolby Digital.

Thanks a lot for your reply, kwag.

I will also stick to the default setting for surround 2. Perhaps I´ll buy a Dolby Prologic II receiver some day.
