Please help. I have downloaded HeadAC3he.rar, unzipped it to a folder along with all of the .dlls. When I run HeadAc3he.exe the only .dill to load is azid.dill the rest fail. I am running Windows 98SE. I have tried every .dill from from the download section in various combinations but still the rest don't load. I downloaded libmmd.dill and placed it in the same folder but got an ERROR message also tried it in the Systems folder and got an ERROR message. Please Please Please Help !!! ( I now have a MIGRAINE) PS. have searched the Forums and only find similar questions but no answers.

Update:___I deleted all files and started again. It now works ok. I think I must have downloaded the wrong dills for my Athlon . 19/03/2003

at first you must choose the 5 dll´s , that fit to your cpu und download them an put the in the headac3he directory

before you start headac3he you must have the following dll´s in your headac3he directory

azid.dll
lame_enc.dll
libmmd.dll
MP2enc.dll
MPAlib.dll
ssrc.dll
Vorbis.dll

then headac3he will work

Get the dll's from the HeadAC3he official site. the link's in the download section http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2553
download the dlls optimized for the cpu that you have.

ok thank u, but can you tell me a way that will allow me to take audio

from an AVI file, and convert it into the type of file that you get when

making a KVCD??? and which type of file does it need to be, because

every time i use virtualdub, it comes out as a huge 1.? Gb WAV file!?

I dont understand what to do then to get it to a *00 Mb size like everyone

else? Pleeze help.

the huge , more than 1GB wav file is correct, because it is uncompressed, when you extract it with virtualdub

you load this file in headac3he and produce a MP2 file. this is the audio format you multiplex with your kvcd videostream (m1v), in order to get your final kvcd

hI, i've been extracting the audio from avi's a slightly different way due to a codec problem I have I load the avi into GoldWave and resample to 44.1 khz and then save as wav. Then load the wav file into HeadAC3he and encode it to .MP2.

If it happens to be a multiple file AVI, you can do copy+paste in GoldWave. So far I haven't had any audio sync problems.

So if VDub doesn't work for ya, try this method out (if you want to)

Some of these rar files don't come out as DLL's, and sometimes they ask me to "overwrite" them...do I have to ? Anyways, I have the same problems with failed loading and interfaces, even though I chose the correct p4 files for my cpu.

try this ezysk

p4 CPU.....
uninstall or remove the HeadAC3he from your system...

download here the dlls for your CPU type:

in: "Main"...( download "HeadAC3he" )

and in "ICL SSE2 DLLs for Pentium 4" ...(download all)

http://mitglied.lycos.de/darkav/svcdguide/svcd.html

and the of course,
use the new winrar to open the dlls!!!

extract all in the same folder!!!!

Here's my current situation: I extracted the required DLL files using Winrar 3.11 version. What happened next was kind of funny. The azid.dll,lame_enc.dll,and libmmd.dll....all appeared with the normal "gear icon" dll....and they are the only dll files that were able to load successfully in HeadAC3he. The rest of the DLLS from MPAlib DLL to MP2enc DLL ...appeared as text files like vorbis appearing as vobis, dll.c or vorbis.dll.h and lame.dll...appearing as lame.h. So the rest of the DLLS failed to load, and got error messages like: "Could not get Vorbis or MP2en interfaces etc. Also during extraction I got an option if I wanted to "overwrite" some files ones like: resource.h,and version.r. Really didn't know what to do with that. I know I downloaded the correct P4 files for my cpu from this site: http://mitglied.lycos.de/darkav/svcdguide/svcd.html, but it was funny, that I did not see if it was XP compatible. Anybody wants to add anything to this.....please by all means. I could use all the help I can get. thanks.

don't use download managers to get the files!
are you using?

if yes, maybe the files are corrupted!
