What's the difference between 48000Hz and 41000Hz for audio?
 
What differens is it betwin 48000Hz and 41000Hz :?: And why should I use 41000Hz instead of 48000Hz when making a SVCD :arrow:

if your player suport,is better use 48k.
clean quality,proud basses and clear trebles!
do a sample with 44k, another with 48k and listen...

you will "feel" the diferences!

Hmm 44.1 is a standart for vcd. Like jorel wrote 48 is better quality but
your vcd will be less compatible with other players.

I have done my SVCD's with 48000Hz an the sound is great :D I just wanted to know if it was better to use 41000Hz, but as you say it's not , I will stay on 48000Hz :wink:

Hmmm, here is one more very important thing. My panasonic-rv31 has a
problem when I'm muxing 48khz audio. Video is skipping every 1.5 sec on
very small portions and if there is no big motion you cannot see the problem.
When I'm muxing with audio on 44.1khz there is no problem. Video is
just fine.

yes,sometimes in mpeg2,my player lost the sincro
video came first when audio is in 48k!..sometimes.
in mpeg1 plays without problems!!
