besweet - read less frames than expected?

Hello again:

I'm working on putting a VHS movie onto a VCD. I captured a small segment just to test and demuxed it into a d2v file and an ac3 file. I converted the ac3 file to mp2 using BeSweet (headac3he wouldn't complete this task, saying that it "read less frames than expected). However, the audio crackles when the audio peaks, and I'm not sure if there's anything I can do about it. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

If the audio crackles while peaking, that's called clipping. You'll just have to capture the audio at a lower volume level.

You can adjust the level from the volume applet, select properties, then recording and lower the level for line-in if that's where you're capturing the audio.

You can download AC3Fix from http://sun.sj.net.cn:8080/souxin/sof...c3%20fix03.rar to fix this problem...
