Stereo or Dual Channel?
Sorry if this isnt the correct forum for this question but I thought this is where I'd get the quickest answer.
When I encode my audio I usually do 224kbps Stereo, now I notice kwags template use Dual Channel. If you encode both Stereo and Dual Channel at 224kbps which will sound best and why? TIA |

I'll really said that it's better with dual channel... same space but you will notify the difference. If you hear the movies throught the TV, there will not be differece...
And if your amp has dobly prologic II.... who cares about Dobly Digital :D |

I also suggest anyone with a surround sound system, to go to Radio Shack, and get a Sound Pressure Level Meter (SPL), and follow a procedure like this one: http://www.hebbe.com/ht/audiocalibration.html You'll get the best possible audio calibration. Note: Get the analog meter. Not the digital. Ignore the tripod recommendations. Just use a fixed spot  -kwag |
