Converting wav to mpa audio
Hi Guys, I have just made a KDVD with two movies on it and I wanted to make a nice menu in DVD-Lab. I wanted to have some background music ripped from from the movie to play on the menu screen.
I have a Wav file and I want to cut a section of that and convert it to Mpa format for DVD_Lab. What is the best program to cut the wav for the section I want, the only program I can think of at the moment that can do that is CoolEdit. I know that DVD-Lab can convert the resulting Wav to Mpa for me so that is not a problem. Thanks. :) |
Hi, I think that winamp has a function that permit "to play" a file, but output will be writed in HD.
With Nero you can also edit a wav file. -------------------------- Visit: Intermediate guide: MencodeMe/Win32 - Avisynth - MakeAvis by Prodater64. Thanks Prodater64 for the info but my old friend CoolEdit did the job for me. :)
I havent used it in ages so my memory needed jogging. I appreciate your help though. :) |
I think the mpa audio you're referring to is the same as MP2 since it's used in a DVD menu
|
mpa generally references a "mpeg audio" stream even if it is mainly used for mp2.
like mpv is a mpeg video stream, 1 or 2. |
Yes, I knew that, but in this case it's most likely MP2
If only MP3 audio could be used.. |
