Hi all,

For those that already did DVD rip with dvdshrink in "reauthor" mode (or with dvd2one in "movie only" mode). You should have been surely disapointed bevcause you dont have a menu anymore.

Tmpgenc dvd author can import a complete DVD structure and add a menu (and a chapter selection menu) on that

In the "source setup" window I never noticed the "add DVD video" button

You just have to think to let a little space on the DVD to fit the menu (use "custom ratio").

Note: be carefull, tmgenc author keeps only one audio and no subtitles.

Thank you for the info Phil, that is really useful information as I use DVDShrink to sometime Re-Author and this sounds like a good way to keep the menu.

Mainly for direct access to chapters.
Tmpgenc author can do automatically "scene access" menu with thumbnails. It just parses the movie, finds the original chapters and generates the menus

Second: in reauthor you can add more than the movie. You can for instance keep also one of the bonus (let say the making off). Without menu, they just play one after the other. With a menu you can jump directly to the bonus

Eh eh...

Hello ? How much hour did you sleep last night ?

Tmgenc author is to MAKE a menu, not to keep the existing one.
