1 - Correct forum would be DIKO one.
2 - You can do KVCD mpeg2 mpeg multichannel but your standalone must to support it. If not it make not sense. ac3 5.1 only is supported by KDVD (DVD standard).
3 - You dont't have bin-cue for some reason that I can't to figure out, you must to post your DIKO log please.
4 - I don't know how DIKO deal with subtitles and what subtitles support. Please wait for any other to obtain an answer about that issue.

thx for your post

If you are dealing with pal video look in spanish forum and download kdvd express an ksvcd packs, open desired bat file (ksvcd_express.bat I think is your choiced). Script instructions are in english inside script, don't worry. This is a quick one option, but DIKO can give you more than those batch files.

Pro, if I'm not wrong kDVD_express uses mencoder. Please do NOT advice someone that have problems with Diko to use mencoder WITHOUT ANY NOTICE !

Mencoder is, and stays, a tool that is not to be put in all hands and anyone that uses it MUST know what are the risks he takes. And you know that.

Excuseme, but, as you mentioned recently, we have expression liberty.
Boy asked for a quick method and I pointed to one (and said also that DIKO is better). I don't said him that must to tweak batch files, I only said use it.
I think that everybody have same rights, you have pointed several times to Packshot and Mencodeme. You have pointed recently to FreeEnc and you know libavcodec have bitrate related issues. Please don't make me search all your mentioned post.
In SKVCD/KDVD/DockingExpress threads there are similar notices/warnings than in Packshot one (not in MencodeMe one)
He don't want DIKO deals (not subtitles, not bin-cue). For sure he will have less problems with SKVCD_Express than with DIKO, I SURE YOU THAT (it seems that you like a lot big letters).

Edited:
I found out this without searching:

Mencoder was very promising but too buggy so actualyl the discussion on the encoder are locked to the GUI that allow to use (and test) mencoder) : Packshot and MencoderME. But Vmesquita also developped an other encoder using this librairy called FreeEnc and the section of the forum is quite active currently.

Else you have Diko, to encode automatically Divx (or now DVD also) to KVCD. See also the section of the forum.

Please note that you mentioned mencoder, packshot, mencodeme and FreeEnc before DIKO.

Exactly. But then, now we have DIKO (Free version and Commercial version), FreeEnc (free), YMPEG (Commercial), FFMPEGx (shareware), mencoder(free), ffmpeg(free), all supporting KVCD "Notch" matrix natively ;)
