trouble with chaptering in VCDEasy

I'm having a small problem with chaptering in VCDEasy. I have followed the guides and advice elsewhere on this forum to put chapters at some arbitrary number of entrypoints throughout my DVD rips. When I burn it, the chapters work fine from the numeric keypad. The problem is that the "next chapter" button (within PowerDVD and WinDVD) always acts to stop the play of the DVD. It just shuts down. I have gone to the "interactivity" tab on VCDEasy to play around with the settings for "previous" and "next" button with no success. The "previous" button works fine, but the "next" button shuts down the movie even if its not set to "End VCD" on the "interactivity" page.

Is there a users manual for VCDEasy that I have overlooked? I've tried reading some of the guides at VCDImager, but they're at a bit higher level than I'm ready for at the moment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Peter:

Have you followed this guide: http://www.doom9.org/mpg/vcdeasy.htm

Hi Kwag,

No, I hadn't seen that guide. Thanks. After a quick glance, it looks like I haven't deviated from what's presented in the guide, but there are a couple settings in the "(S)VCD Player" tab that I may have to toggle. I don't understand their purpose. I'll check those tonight.

Can you please tell me what setting you have for the "Next" selection on the "interactivity" tab? I think mine was set to default to "End VCD", or something like that. It didn't seem correct, but it hasn't helped to change it.

Thanks for your help.
