DVDWHASHER macaroni version download

DVDWHASHER (macaroni version)

software combination vs new protection (from chandra in shrink forum!)

regarding the new protection system found on some sony columbia movies.
Tested the following
DVD decripter (last version) http://www.dvddecrypter.com

DVDwasher (download) http://www.tuttolatino.com/programmi/dvdwasher.zip 169Kb only

DVDshrink (last version) http://www.dvdshrink.org/where.html

use all 3 in the order I indicated.
No changes performed to the *default settings.
(* optional for use dvdshrink, you can backup with no compression)
decript to remove rce prot (dvddecrypter)
dvdwasher on files decripted on HD to remove the new prot
(that was worst than the one on the passion or gothica.
shrink to finally *compress or don't compress the movie. (* optional)
Consider that without the washer, shrink was not able to "see" the movie;
it only showned chapters from 5 and over (the add-on)

 using DVDWASHER:
It is in italian so mark the two boxes on the left.

In " videotsifo originale " put the directory where you decripted the movie

in " cartella di destinazione " write the folder on your disk
where you wish to have the movie to be shrinked

push " pulisci dvd " to start operation
push " ferma "if you want to stop before cleaning is completed.

backup copy works fine.

thanks chandra :D

Hi jorel,

the new Slysoft Anydvd beta says it can solve this protection (not freeware, though).

PS. It seems that this new Sony protection makes the discs unplayable on some players... like the Sony 510A...

....or they change the protection or remove it from the dvds!

the factorys will fight for us in this case or will get big prejudice or...
rest in peace!

then our position as standalone users is very confortable!
