a list of DVD authoring software?

Does anybody here post a list of authoring software and say if it uses elementary streams or program streams to work.
In case of use of program streams, are they demuxed across processing?

All authoring tools I know need to demux program streams to create VOBS. I think this is a mandatory step to create correctly the DVD structure (ifo, chapters...).
