Sound out of sync after authoring DVD
 

Hi im tying to make a dvd movie out of some old avis that i came across with im using tmpgenc 3.0 express to convert from avi to m2v and everything comes out nice up to the point when i have to author i use the authoring program that comes with nero but when its done i get audio out of sync what program do u recommend for authoring and is there a guide on how to make a dvd out of avis that will take me step by step to see where im going wrong.

The problem is not in the authoring but in the sources. They are probably not at a correct fps (23.976 or 25 or 29.970).

What type of avi are they ?

u know the avis everyone has... which im not supposed to talk about in here but i think i know what the problem is when u said about fps i think i had the wrong ones..thanks i'm gonna try it and see if it works if not ill come back with more detailed info.........

Yeah, this kind of avi is often a little off the official fps values ;-).
