Has Anyone Burned VCDs to Mini CD-R ?

Has anyone burned a KVCD or any other VCD in one of those little 180MB CD-R disks

I would like to know, and also if it plays on standard DVD players.
Wonder how much video we could fit on one of those tiny CDs

I have my wedding video on one. Its about 30 mins and my wife loves having it with her all the time. I used the KVCD-LBR template.

It would be great to get around 45 +/- minutes on one. I would love to have my favorite Star Trek epoisode in my wallet.

And that's the exact size I had in mind

. Specially for my "Stargate SG-1" episodes.
With the new parameters ( GOP, Matrix, Prediction, etc ) and a MAX bit rate of 1,150Kbps, 45 minutes should be a piece of cake

Depends on the capacity of the disc. Capacity in bytes = minutes * 60 * 75 * 2324.

Subtract about 10mb for filesystem overhead (note this is for a standard-sized disc -- a mini-CD might need less) and then multiply by (2018 / 204

to compensate for the system stream.

Subtract the size of your audio, and what's left is your max target for video.

Run a file size prediction test targeted at that value and see how much you can squeeze on
