what program to make VCD from captured videos?

Hi all,

I'm interested in taking some VHS tapes and burning them on too a CD-R. I have a capture devise for the VHS tape recorder, and I have a LG R-WR DVD Rom.

My problem is what program can I use to make the captured video input from the VCR into a CD-R that will play on a Home DVD player?

Hi Cobraj,

You can capture with VirtualDub, AVI_IO, IuVCR, WinDVR( captures straight to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 ).
The best quality will be capturing to AVI and encoding off-line with TMPGEnc to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2. Check the related areas in the forum.
