Kwag,
I am curious as to the method you use to add chapters to a 2 CD rip.

One CD is easy with Chapter Extractor and Vcdeasy and if I use Dvd2svcd it takes care of it.

I prefer the manual encoding process for encoding as I get better quality and have greater control but for 2 CD rips chapters are a pain in the neck.

How do you tackle this ?

It's a little tricky, but here's what to do. You find the chapter times with ChapterXtractor. Now look for the starting time of a chapter that is still within the boundary size close to the end of the first CD. Now mux with BBMpeg with the start seconds = 0 and end seconds set to that chapter time. Now your first CD will end exactly on a chapter point. Now mux your second CD using start seconds = end seconds of first CD, and end seconds set to the end of your movie. For the second CD, paste the chapters starting from this offset. That way you'll have the same entry points on the second CD. I hope you understood all this spagetti
