Hi

I made a mpeg with the newest template (704x576), the result is 806MB, good I said, let VCDEasy make the chapters and .bin, .cue files, the final bin is 911MB big, doesn't fit on a 80min CDR -

I remember with the old template VCDEasy produced only a bin which is only 10 or 20 MB bigger than the source mpeg, am I wrong ?

Cheers

Omega

I know the feeling, I get the same with nero, 760 meg file goes an jumps to 860 meg. Bums me out that I either have to edit the mpeg or re-encode.

Hi guys, have you tried buning these images onto CD's? I believe that the images they create have extra files that are not burnt onto the CD and your file will fit. I may be wrong with VCDEasy though because you add chapters and such but if you have a CD to spare you might as well try.

Something went wrong for you Omega
I burned "The Matrix", complete with the new KVCDx2 intro logo with VCDEasy, and it went into a 80 minute CD-R with full chapters.
The file size is 840,555,940 or in "File Manager" terms 820,856KB.
This is the mpeg created with the KVCDx2 1-CD template at 704x480.
The intro logo is 402,852KB, as posted in the main page.

Omega, tarsus,

Please make sure you are encoding with the option VideoCD (non-standard) in the System Tab of TMPGenc. Otherwise, VCDEasy will pad the MPEG stream with zeroes generating a huge file.

Hope this helps.

Hi Luis & kwag

Thank you, that must be the reason, because I had trouble encoding the audio so I convert the video stream only, and if you choose video only you don't have the system tab -
