Hi there,
I want to create my OWN menu which can link to 2 movies, I have authored 2 title sets (2 movies) which are in VOBs (I have to keep 2 sets of subtitles inside). Is there any authoring program which allows me to import VOB. DVDit only accepts M2V and Mpeg, whereas Ulead DVD Workshop only accepts Mpeg. Thanks in advance!

Hi syk2c11,

I believe DVD Quick Builder will let you do that: http://www.authoringware.com/quickbuilder.htm

DVD Movie Factory 2 allows you to import VIDEO_TS folders. I wonder why Ulead did not include this option in DVD Workshop.

try this:

copy the .vob to your hd then rename to .avi !
try to open in your prog.

i had many attacks using this method in other foruns, pleople calls me "idiot",close my threads, etc.
with a help of some moderators, this threads was reopen and i send
samples showing this method.

try this and post a result.
rename .vob to .avi makes me feel pain and bore my mind...cos i remember how much personal attacks i had!
if you want to know about this i can post some links,ok?
just try! it will surprise you.

Hi guys,
I did some tests, I renamed the VOB to AVI, DVD Workshop still rejected it. I downloaded the trial version of MovieFactory, yes it accepts VIDEO_TS folder (and everything inside the folder), but it took hell long to do something which I don't know what it was doing, it just like scanning my HD and finally several thumbnails pop up as the chapter/index points. If the full version (MovieFactory) works the same way as I experienced, then bye-bye MovieFactory, I would rather stay with DVD Workshop with permanent subtitle burnt into m2v.
