what program to burn the vcd image?

I havent yet even tried that does KVCD work in my dvd player but what i would like to now is how will i know if it does.

So in numbers:

1. I am downloading the test-cd image from edonkey wich should be the proof if my dvd-player works or not.I am using Nero 5.5. So with what program and with what properties i will burn the image?

2. after I have done that and a big smile shines from my face becouse of a working kvcd-player in my livingroom what is the "SIMPLEST WAY" to burn an movie or a clip that i have made or downloaded.

3. Is KVCD a cd like a svcd with lots of folders and files wich mean something or is it a "kind of a simulator" for SVCD that a dvd-player thinks its SVCD but it isnīt.

4. Is for instance VCD or S-VCD the minimum requirements for a dvd-player to play KVCD/KDVD?

a Starter, an idiot, A Sharer!

Hi J.S.,

You can get the test image directly here: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2464
Once you get it, you use nero and use "Burn image" from the menu. It will make a non-standard VCD image on your CD. Try it our on your player and let us know your results :D
