start VCD with intro mpg, then go to a menu?

I am trying to find a programme that will let me start a VCD with an intro mpg and then go on to a menu.

Is this possible to do?

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance

You can do menus right now with Nero.
I believe that VCDEasy will have support for menus in the future.

Yes I know Nero can do menus.

I have been using it now for quite sometime.

I am trying to find a programme that will play an intro mpg before the menu starts.

As in, you put the vcd in your dvd player up pops an intro mpg then it displays a menu to let you choose between, for example, a movie and a making of segment.

Its easy to create a menu but I don't know of any software that will let you have an intro mpg before the menu is displayed.

Can anyone help??????

Someone must know whether it can be done!?

Yes, you can design an animated menu on After Effects, and set it to last about a minute or so. Render it as an avi file, encode that avi on TMPGenc as VCD, and use it as your second track. The first will be your intro file. As long as the audience will notice, it will be a beatiful animated menu. Your buttons won't be linked to actual video tracks, but they will tell which track to go to with the remote control. You could also put one of this menus between each video program track. Plan it carefully.

Either of ULead's products (DVD Workshop or the much cheaper DVD MovieFactory) will do this no problem. The sad thing is that neither will accept KVCD MPEG1 files since they're classed as non-standard :(

Daz
im looking more into tsvc and the still and motion menu options it provides...this may be a good app to start doing what u want to accomplish.

Doom9 has a very good guide on it. Sefy has one too...
