I saw something posted somewhere about this but I can't seem to find any references but....

CDRW's burn fine with no problems, when the same .cue file is burnt with a cd-r getting audio skips, macro blocks intermittently.

Doesn't matter VCDeasy or Nero, results the same.

Has anyone had this problem, or do you remember the post.

btw another problem along the same line, if the video is a two cd-r video, one is good the other has problems.

I know it's problably the media, memorex 700's but I had to ask.

thanks

At what speed do you burn those, could it be too fast?

The cdrw are burned at 10x while I burn the cd-r's at 8x, having had consistent luck with that speed in the past, I don't really want to go faster.

Some DVD players can play CD-RW fine, but have trouble with CD-Rs. Have a look at http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers.

Thanks, I visited that site before I purchased my standalone player and for my money this JVC plays em' great.

I've already burned some 180 vcd's that play fine on that standalone. It's just recently since I've purchased this brand of cdr's that make me suspect them.

Thanks PyRo
