General Questions about DVD Authoring and Converting
 

A few days ago I bought myself the pioneer dvr-105. In the past I made a lot of KVCDs with major success. Now I want to know what possibilities do I have with DVD authoring.

-When I convert the main movie to KDVD how do I modify the IFO or something to set the menus to the KDVD?

-When I uncheck audio tracks before I rip a DVD. What happens tp the menu when I'm choosing the language?

-Is there a chance to modify the menus?

-Can someone please tell me the whole possibilities that I have with a dvd-writer?

there's a whole world of possibilities with dvd authoring.

depending on what u want to do...
the apps will vary...
to re-author and keep and the angles, chains etc....
u can try ifo-edit.
to shrink a dvd to fit onto a blank dvd+-r,,,u can try
dvdshrink, or dvd2one...
if u are encoding say, to kdvd {an mpg2 dvd compliant file or mpg1}
and later on re-authoring {meaning choosing chapters, scene menus, backgrounds etc..} u need an authoring app such as
Ulead DvDMovie Factory or DvD WorkShop, SpruceIT, Roxio has a new suite called Easy CD & DvD, and or a mid-range app called DvDLab.
