Inflated .bin files in VCDEasy?

Hi Folks,

Here's a problem I can't solve. I'm having great success encoding DVD rips using the KVCDx2 2CD template. But when I split the file into two halves using the TMPGenc MPEG tools, I have trouble burning them with VCDEasy. For example, my original MPEG is 1.6 GB, and after cutting I have two files that are about 745 MB. Perfect. But when I run VCDEasy, it creates a .bin file that is 858 MB. WAY too big.

I've had this problem every time I use the MPEG cutting tool, and ONLY when I use the cutting tool. Usually, my cut files are small enough that it doesn't matter.

I would greatly appreciate any advice you have!

Hi Peter:

I think that your problem is when you're cutting the mpeg, you're not selecting "MPEG-1 Video CD ( Non-standard )"
