VCD header trick?
 

any of u guys tried the vcd header trick??
and also, is there a vcdheader forum? cuz svcd gives fuckin sweet quality, but only one of my players plays it, and i was wondering like tricks for usin it, cuz i tried it once and it didnt work on my downstairs dvd player

Yea I do it for SVCDs. Except my player won't play if multiplexed as non standard VCD. I have to multiplex as standard VCD. I get underflow errors because of lost audio packets, but things sound and play perfectly.

It only works on some players. Honestly though I've pretty much ditched SVCD because KVCD at 704x480 looks as good if not better then my SVCDs and my player supports it without any header switching magic.

I used the guide from the main page on KVCD.net. It's on the right column and called creating KVCD from scratch.

It's pretty darn easy if you use ToK. The guide will point you to the place to download everything you need.
