CD-I Options in nero ?

When Im burning in nero I followed the guide that says ta turn off the
"Create standard compliant CD" option,
But theres another option that the guide didnt mention , what about the option that says "Use CD-I Application"
Do I turn that option on or off for kvcd's ??

Hi Sykes,

Personally, I've always left the CD-I option "on" in Nero and have never had any problems with my kvcds (but that's just my experience with it, I could be wrong...I don't think this particular setting matters much though). Best advice: try it and see for yourself!

Also  , there's no need to cross-post the same message throughout different forums here friend (many people read all the forums anyways, and I'm sure Kwag himself does at the very least), so I'm really not trying to be a nag or anything, but please don't do that...some people find this sort of behavior a bit irritating (possibly even rude). If you must, try "bumping" your original thread instead after a reasonable amount of time has passed if you're not getting any replies and are worried that people might have missed your post. cool? cool! We're all one big happy family here. :)

Regards,

This setting matters only if you want to read the KVCD on a (very) old CD-I (interactive) Philips player with its optional VCD reading module.

This leads us to the prehistory of the VCD players. Not needed anymore.

You can turn it OFF as it saves some bytes on your CD.

Thanks for the info Phil! :D

Sykes, I guess that means you (we) should've been unchecking that option in Nero unless using an ancient Philips player.
