really clear about " informations including", that's the way it goes. @ ak47, sorry, i call a friend in portuguese forum to translate your last post for me and he is (more or less) lost and confused too. :? he understand this language very well and have great posts, tutorials, explanations in english too. is not your fault ak47, it's mine ! but like Avalon posted (thanks again Avalon) "In Nero You can only setup DVD if You have a DVD-Burner inside..." my friend have a cdburner and dvd burner. he have nero in his system(win XP) and in nero he can choose a dvd burner or cdr-w burner, but only in the dvd burner the dvd media can be read :!: in my system i have the same version of nero but can't choose a dvd burner, the reason is the same technical reason that Avalon posted. then IF my cdrburner could read a dvd it only will show 700mb but nero,or better, the system can't see the virgin dvd in any place cos he don't "feel" a dvdburner. the cdr-wburner can't read the informations inside the dvd media for technical reasons.....means, impossible! the cdr-w burner can't read the informations inside the dvd media! and the idea was/is:  dvd-r on a cd-rw drive :!: (like the title of this thread) i don't have a dvd burner cos i did this "formula" :  cdr80 or 90 minutes + kvcds = who need dvds burners?  |
after hard search and long wait for "new ideas"
... i can post the reason (final point) ... why a cdr burner can't burn a dvd media :?: :? some reasons: difference is the actual beam its self in frequency ! Cdrom Laser Wavelength 780 nm , infrared ! DVDrom Laser Wavelength 650 and 635 nm , red ! summary:  its impossible to read a DVD ROM without a DVD capable laser :!:  |
