Kvcd template + burning with nero?
Hei Kwag
I am really a nooob... Thanks a lot for helping movie community. Your work is amazing. I have a 90 minute avi file and I am trying to use your template. Should I be changing any settings at all? Also what settings I need to use to burn it in nero. |

Thanks! For avi, I hope you mean a captured avi, not a DIVx avi. I don't recommend DIVx to mpeg re-encoding. The quality is pretty bad unless the DIVx is macro block free. For burning with Nero, just burn the mpeg as a VCD, but uncheck the "Create Standard Compliant CD" kwag |
avi file type
I dont know how to find out the encoding type. Its a downloaded file. I think its a divx encoded file as I had extract audio from videodub and then use the extracted audio(TmpGEnc could not open the avi file saying audio error)

You're going to have to play with the input aspect in TMPEG until you get your correct output aspect. What do you mean "1/2 screen on the tv". Is it 1/2 vertical, 1/2 horizontal, 1/2 left of the screen? Did you check in the forum topics to see if your DVD player is in the compatibility list? kwag |
1/2 to the left
Hei Kwag
Its half of tht vertical screen to the left i.e., the picture is covering half vetical left screen and the other half on the right is blank. How do I know about the input aspect ratio? Thanks for your help... btw my player is comaptible its pioneer dv-525 |

Just like the Pioneer dv-333, the 525 is not compatible with the high resolution. kwag |
