Update scan offsets in vcdeasy?
 

Should I turn on the option "update scan offsets" in vcdeasy when
making a skvcd?

According to a guide I read, it should be turned on...

But I thought BBMpeg takes care of the job!?

When I enable it, the skvcd works fine also, but in the logging of vcdeasy the message "non mpeg1 audio stream detected" pops up.

For my part I always had this box checked. It does not hurt in anything so I don't see why to uncheck it. Don't worry about the warnings you see.

Don't tell that to my boss ;-)

Its useful when adding chapters in VCDeasy. If you want to burn your KVCDs just using Nero: No chapters ... leave them checked off this will give you some minimal extra bits when encoding.
