I am just wondering if it is possible to burn KVCD-plus (704x480) onto a DVD -/+ R (to be played on standalone DVD player). I went through "vcdhelp.com" which says that it is possible to put "VCD Mpeg-1 onto a DVD -/+ R". Is it only apply to 352x240(28? It also says that "it is only apply to 25 / 29.97 fps NOT 23.976" so does it mean that NTSCFilm (KVCD-plus) is NOT applicable?

The reason for doing this is that I found KVCD-plus's quality is far better than KDVD (no matter half or full D1), I want to have 3 KVCD-plus movies in ONE DVD -/+ R.

Hi syk2c11,
Your information is correct. We can't put any KVCD ( MPEG-1 ) above 352x240(28 on a DVD
And I agree with you. The KVCD PLUS templates are FAR superior to MPEG-2. This is because they are MPEG-1 and perform better at lower bit rates. The best quality/resolution compromise right now is the SKVCD template, which substitutes CVD's and SVCD's. But it's not DVD compliant, unless you change the audio to 48Khz and shorten the GOP.
And then, you wind up basically with the KDVD half D1 template
