Are you burning as "VCD 2.0" in VCDEasy, and not as SVCD or VCD 1.1 ?

SBoss,
have you tried burning with FireBurner? and just to eliminate the possibility of the jumpiness being the actual burning, since it doesnt happen with nero, try , if u havent already, installing DaemonTools.
Then loading you image (the cue part of the bin/cue image) into daemon, then playing the video from the virtual CDRom drive (that daemon tools) creates. and it if looks like its playing ,, do a CD to CD copy using nero, i'd suggest to a cd-rw first , then test it on your tv/dvdplayer.

Fireburner has probably failed on my one or two times out of about 120 + cd's or so, but thats cuz i was doing too many other things on da system or trying out cheapie media.

http://www.daemon-tools.com/daemon_tools.htm

The vato---Doom9 has a guide on FoolProof Guide to burning--if you need a breakdown.

with the daemon tools everything was ok.
is it possible, that my dvd-player doesn't support chapters on burned cds?

Same problem for me, but only at the last minute of my disc:s. My Standalone has very hard to read the last minute/minutes of disc that are made with vcdeasy and burned with Blindwrite. Same mpg burned in Nero is played without problems(or chapters ). The mpg is standard Pal vcd.

Hadn't seen you around for a while Mr Walker
Did you try the new version 1.1.2 of VCDEasy that was just released?

Hello kwag
No i been away from the "vcd-buisness" for a while(lack of interest). But recently I was doing a vcd for a friend and the wheels was in motion. And just as certain as "Amen" in the church there were problems(as in this post). And yes I'm using vcdeasy 1.1.2 at the moment.
