Avisynth: Psychovisual - will it improve picture quality?

Hi All,

It's only at the discussion stage and Divx 5.2 Pro uses it to
enhance low bit rate encodes, but psychovisual is certainly
hot. Can it be developed via avisynth? Here's the link:

I've used this feature with Divx 5.2 pro and the results are
