I'd say look for removedirt, removegrain, avstimer, avsrecursion and ssetools (under construction) - add the word in www.xxx.de.tf.

As his documenting style is very verbose, I guess he decided to make separate domains for each one. One single page with all the links would have been really great, maybe I should ask him to do that.

Nowadays I use Didée's LTSMC for my analog captures so I haven't had to keep up with all the different plugins, IIRC that one uses RemoveGrain and SSETools from kassandro's plugins. kassandro's forum is a good place for information, and he's also very positive towards any new ideas - as you can see from RemoveGrain, which contains ~30 modes already 8O

Hi Boulder,

Do you have some suggested settings for LTSMC (like for VHS camcorders or TV captures)?

How does it compare to LRemoveDust (for captures)? I have used LRemoveDust(4,2) for VHS camcorder works OK for me.

Perhaps we should split this to the capture forum, or start a new thread here at optimal scripts.

Ok, here's a new thread.

I haven't done any thorough testing since I've been using LTSMC only for a short time now. I've used the default settings and then just adjusted hardlimit to taste. My noisiest caps got very clean with hardlimit=3 and looked better to my eyes than LRemoveDust(17,2). You can also play with the sharpness setting, I left it at the default 80 to keep the image sharp even if there's some very heavy TemporalSoften applied to the video. I also haven't done any compression tests yet.

Didée plans to finalize the function as soon as he gets Restore24 reworked, however with the new MaskTools out, it might take a while. Anyway, LTSMC looks very promising already.

All this make me think : Didée has a site where his functions are centralized ? Or do you have to lurk into D9 forum to follow all that stuffes ?

Unfortunately they are all spread across Doom9, the German D9 and also neuron2's forum. The site that inc posted, www.avisynth.info , appears to have some kind of a list of various AVS stuff.

EDIT: Here's LTSMC : http://home.arcor.de/dhanselmann/_stuff/LTSMC.rar

@ Phil

Not as far as I know, neither MoMonster, MugFunky, Scharfis_Brain or other Function-developers. The only one is mf where you can find his functions in his http/ftp account listing or his forum.

Its really a mess. I got a big collection of most interesting scripts on my HD but even here Im not shure if some have been updated since I copied and safed them as txt files
