I am removing the initial cast from the source using the trim() and want to do the same for the related audio also, otherwise the audio will not sync. If I use the trim() function from the source for audio, it doesnt give the desired result.

Is is possible to use the trim() function with audio also ????

Only if you load the audio in the script as well. I'd rather use DelayCut to cut the part that is not needed.

Do you mean using the
Code:
addaudio()
, I tried it doesnt work for eg. if you are have to give values for Video and Audio seperately in TMPGEnc, it doesnt recognize the audio properly.

I will try to use Delaycut. As of now I used Virtualdubmod to remove the parts not needed, that should be fine too!!!.

If you plan on cutting both video and audio at the same time, you can use some VOB cutter such as ChopperXP etc. DelayCut is only for audio.
