Avisynth: Blockbuster Vs DCTfilter?
What is a proven way to remove all those DCT effects with underwater/Dark/Night scenes.
Blockbuster ?????? yeah DCTfilter ??????? yes I use the following settings for them : DCTFilter(1,1,1,1,1,1,0.5,0) Vs Blockbuster(method="noise",detail_min=1,detail_max =10,variance=0.3,seed=5623) |

To avoid creation of DCT block into the converted video, yes it is (just before the addborders line, like you said).

The challenge in here is NOT "trying to fix thrashy overcompressed sources where std. workout procedures have been used before they have been shared". For that there are enough xvid/divx sharing communities on earth. If you got a too blocky result (in this case your source) then do a backup again from the original using better settings. Supermule this is a clear warning cause in here in the past there occured a big diskussion about this and the final decision from the forums owner was to kick out those subjects. The lines above are very unemeotional and souveraign typed as you could imagin a member "Supermule", living in "Donkeyland" which is permanently asking for enhancing bad source qualities "could" push this forum into a "suspect" view for Official/Government Departments if at least a Moderator didn't spoke out a clear warning like this. To me its clear paradox: On the one side changing the forums state in a way so no more activity like in the past is given, but on the other hand, continuing via the back door. Please dont point me on "No XVID/DIVX Therms have been directly named" .... its clearly recognisable. |
I clearly work with all kind of sources but in terms with the rules of the forum, I dont discuss the "ones not to be" in this forum.
I discuss only the methodologies and technicalities to clear my doubts.(thats not violating the terms of the forum). I respect the rules of this forum without Question!!!. |
