Avisynth: How to use scripts in TMPGENc?

I have the script done with FitCD and i saved it. But how do i encode it? Do I just load it up into TMPGEnc by clicking Video Only and then browsing to the .avs file? Then finally clicking encode?

I need some big help lol. Thanx though :D

Yep, but you'll have to install AviSynth first.
And you'll have to properly install and ReadAVS for TmpgEnc to be able to read avs scripts since it can't natively do that.
Also you'll have to install any external filters needed in your script.
So search for the latest stable Avisynth 2.5.5. Use google ;-).
Install it on a short path i.e. "c:\video\avisynth".
Then search for "readavs" inside the forum.
Download it and make sure you read it's instructions very well.
Install it according to the instructions.
Now it all depends on what script FitCD came up with.
But odds are you won't need any external filters for your movie from the automatically generated FitCD script.
Now load the script in TmpgEnc and voilá.
Hope it helped.
Cheers

And to install Xvid or Divx codec, even if your sources are DVDs. This is a tricky, hidden, stuff between avisynth and tmpgenc (or other encoder) but this has to be done :).

Right!
You got me there, Phil :).
XviD is needed because it will act as an YV12 decoder.
Cheers

Oy guys thanks for all your help. I have all the latest codecs with the K-Lite Codec Pack Full. I had AviSynth 2.6.6 and I uninstalled it and installed 2.5.5 as it was more stable. Everything went fine. But when I load up the normal FitCD. I get this

^^The directory it says it created is the one i created... so i don't know what exactly is going on^^

and

http://www.digitalfaq.com/archives/error.gif

but when I load up the FitCD with KVCD Prediction and SansGrip Filters, I don't receive an error. (As you can see below)

Thanx for all your help. I tried to be as detailed as i could.
:D

PULL THE BREAKS!

a) DEINSTALL these Codecpacks as you will end up in a messed up system and for shure codecconflicts.

b) You only need to install the XvidCodec and FFdshow, thats enough for 90% of all video purposes.

c) Deinstall your Avisynth and reinstall the latest STABLE Release, proofed ones are 2.55 and 2.5xb from Dec 2004.

d) "720x576" is NOT! "1:1 Monitor" but Full D1 DVD, so the FitCD Cals above will end up in a wrong result.

It was just a false snapshot to show us the error message. kvcdman is known for using avi sources and nothing else.

Hey man I am only known, Just because I haven't asked anything about dvd's how can you possibly assume that all I do is avi's?. Yes it's true that I have only asked about avi's but that doesn't mean everything i encode is avi's. I usually encode anime and prefer to watch it on tv. Thats why all i have been asking about are avi's.

-Thanx :D

How strange then that you never have any question concerning your DVD sources ;)
Don't worry, I said that you use avi, not that you use warez avi...
