Avisynth: Retrieving script info from files?

hi, i've taken a script and edited it several times. each time i made a 5 minute sample of the movie with the edited script. the problem is that i now have like 20 samples that i have no idea which script i used! i was just naming them 1, 2,3, etc. finally started renaming each script and sample but now my script folder is packed full. so, is there anyway i can retrieve the avs script from the samples i've made?? any program that i can load the sample into and it will grab the avs info for me? thanks for any help.

If you have the naming of the files done through the avs script, you can search all files containing a specific string (as in: the correct filename).

hi, i had a script named #1 or whatever. i made a sample from it, opened the same script and edited a few lines then made another sample, etc. each time i made a sample i just renamed the output 1, 2, 3, etc. i changed the script several times but it was always named the same. so now when i go back and look thru all of the samples i made, i have no idea what filters were in each sample! lol i was just hoping there was some program i could use to open each sample and it could possibly read the avs script used. i guess there isn't. thanks

No way, as you guess.
