I had a harddisk crash some days ago, with the result that I lost most of my video stuff, scripts, samples etc. Now im trying to collect the plugins and stuff i need, but I cant find any working link to LoadPluginEx2.dll. the reason I need it is that im gonna use the Pixiedust() for some short clips. So ill be very happy if anyone could mail me the plugin. Thanks! mail to: t14854 att yahoo dot no |

Are you sure about pixiedust, Viking?
That's a slooooooow filter . But maybe your sources need that much filtering power that only Dust can achieve. VHS tapes? |
yes,its very slow, CCE speed on my athlon 2,1GHz
is 0,09 fps. Youre right, its VHS tapes, colorspace YUY2 and I encode it interlaced. But if you have any recommandations to a quicker, and good, denoiser, ill be happy to hear that. |
Maybe lremovedust?

Hmmm, VHS tapes :?.
The best results I've seen on VHS tapes (I mean bad ones that are 10 years old ) were using pixiedust. That doesn't mean that lremovedust can't do a good job on them either but I really don't think so. You would need something more aggressive than lremovedust and I guess that's why there is pixiedust :lo:. I really don't know, even because I just don't have VHS tapes anymore and I only deal with DVD sources. Cheers |
There are a lot of "gressive" denoiser existing on 2.5. This is what I try sometimes when source is really bad (DVD only for me) :
#LTSMC(MCmode=1,frames=3,limitY=200,limitC=200,thY =200,thC=200,blcksze=8,sharpness=130,LPrad=1.75,ha rdlimit=2) or #eDeen(2,14,21,2,3,true) http://home.arcor.de/dhanselmann/_stuff/LTSMC.rar |
