Sorry did not know where to post this??
Could some one give advice on the following.
want to redo the vobs with just one audio track... want to store on hd for later processing.

The correct way for this was when you ripped your DVD, you would have selected "Stream" riping and selected your favorite audio language. Then you would have your VOBs with only one audio track. This can be done with DVDDecrypter or SmartRipper. My choice: DVDDecrypter

Hi thanks for the reply... I guess I was a little short on the info sorry.

I want to keep the file as a vob but with only one sound track.
I read a post once with some info on this ... I think ifo edit was used??

off topic again ...what is the latest results on using cq or cqvbr...
i unfortunately can only backup to 352 x 240. have followed posts...
need a couple of asprin after. Presently tring bilinear with blockbuster (dither) flux and legal.

You can use DVDDecrypter. Just choose "Stream" mode and select only the language you want. The result will be a VOB with only one audio track and/or selected subtitles too

For 352x240(28, use CQ_VBR. For higher resolutions, use CQ. That's basically it
