New Templates: Need for an Automated File Prediction

I used to use ACP to encode my movies.
I found very useful the automatical CQ adjustement as a set and go for most movies I encoded.

The problem is that there is no way to enter the matrix in there. Just the GOP structure.

Will I have to wait till Delaosa is back for an update in the soft?

Is somewhere out there that has developed a similar app so as to easier the prediction?

Many thanks.

Hi Gaudi,

I think that if you edit the .INI file in your TMPEG directory, you can use the new matrix. Backup your .ini to another name, and make the changes to the "Standard" matrix in the .INI file to reflect the changes. Then when you run acp, it will use the default matrix, so it will be using the new changes that you made

It looks that there is no need to set it as Standard or Default.

It keeps the last used setting.

But, is there any way to check which one is TMPEG using?

I checked the ACP dir, and there are some files in the Matrix directory. It looks that Intra.mtr and Non-Intra.mtr refers to the KVCD matrices.
So perhaps I should only need to modify this files.

Do you know when will he return?

Many thanks.

Gaudi
