All VHS players show something that looks like an oversharp problem. When going from dark to light there seems to be a white halo folling the edge. When going from light to dark there is a very dark halo that follows the edge. This halo effect seems to only appear where the brightness changes sharply.

Any ideas on how to filter it out?[/IMG]

I just thought I post a message that I've written a filter that eliminates the problem. I have only tested it on one source but it seems to work pretty good.

Anyone who wants to test it, let me know.
