Scripts for every type?
Would it be possible to publish an optimal script for every type of movie, dark horror films, fast moving action, cartoons and so on.
We could decide a few types and start to work on a killer script for them! Or do we have a script that works on every type of a movie? |
hi CheronAph
:D i use the last script for "everything" : http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....32b0f04435208c in some cases i put this lines before the last legalclip: LoadPlugin("C:\...\BlockBuster.dll") BlockBuster(method="noise", detail_min=1, detail_max=90, variance=1, seed=0 ) but is a good idea change the filters cos this script is too sloooooooooooowwwwwww! :( and give little Mbs in the final size. any news will be great! |
I agree in both ideas, I would like to see optimal scripts for diferent kind of movies and I also like to have a faster script couse this one is to slow. just my 2cts 8)

The speed is determined largely by the filters you are using. If it is too slow, figure out which filters you can get rid of. Of course, leaving out filters may reduce your overall conversion quality. It will always be a balance between quality and speed... Kwag's optimal scripts focus on quality over speed. A straight conversion with no filters at all will be the fastest (and likely, the ugliest).

Is the optimal script meant for every type of kvcd, or just for kvcdx3?
In movie stacker there are different scripts for the different types, and then the generic which is kvcdx3...am I better off using the optimal or the ones for each resolution? I'm doing SKVCDs right now. |
Hi m0rdant,
The optimal scripts posted are the "bleeding edge" :) The ones in MovieStacker are the ones tried and tested, and they serve well. But we are a moving target :!:, and the scripts get better each day (if not each hour  ) -kwag |
