Hello all,

I tried avisynth 2.5.2 last night on Die another Day, after having done it with 2.0.8 using the standard optimal script with 2.5.2, and changing in 2.0.8 to temporal clean, and taking out luma chroma, which results in larger filesize, but you get a sharper clearer image.

Now I couldn`t get the sampler to work in 2.5.2, so I asumed the same Cq off 74 for it. Having done so with 2.0.8 resulted in full video size off 652Mb taking 5hours20min at 352x288. The 2.5.2 version resulted in a full video size off 785Mb taking 4hours58min.

I must say that the 2.0.8 version looks better to me,So if I was to use the 2.5.2 version I would have to drop the Cq further and thus resulting in a noisier pic.

The one bonus off 2.5.2 is that it set the movie in the right aspect ratio(2.0.8 is vertically slightly narrower top and bottom),resulting in the larger filesize. Now if I could just figure out how to get 2.0.8 to do the same I would be happy.
2.0.8 to do the same I would be happy
