i am still using avisynth 2.08

i want to know if the script with version 2.5* is better quality and faster than version 2.08

AVS2.5 is 35% faster than AVS2.08. That is if you use the same script with both.

Now, the new adaptative script is complety different and use some functions that slow the things a lot. So the encoding time is now the same with the new script and AVS2.52 than it was with old script and AVS2.08.

But... the look is MUCH greater !
