what are AviSynth Scripts?
 

i have read Avalon's SVCD2KVCD Guide and many others
i just have one question?
what are AviSynth Scripts
i get everything except for that
feel free to just give me a link or tell me how Kwag's latest scripts work and how to use them

i have one more question
when you load the plugins in the avisynth2.5.x script, where can i get those plugins cuz i don't have them
also, what are GripCrop Parameters?

You'll need to download the plugins, they are in DLL format. You can get them from the avisynth home page, there's a link for 'external filters' on the left that will take you to a page with the filters and their methods. Make sure you download for 2.5 (if that's what you are using) rather than 2.0.

GripGrop and the other Grip functions (GripSize() GripBorder()) define the resolution and borders of your output. Just use Moviestacker (available for download in the download forum) to generate the correct parameters for the size you want. I use MovieStacker to get these lines correct, and then import them into the optimal script.

i think i got the GripCrop thing
i loaded my file with MovieStacker and checked the Gripcrop field
i went into AviSynth Script and copied the GripCrop thing there into kwag's 2.5 script
there is one prob
when i click start in ToK
it says too many tries
i have PAL SVCD'S and used avalon's guide

now the prob is when i run tok, it says too many tries and just aborts

If you use the last Motion Adaptative script, that can explain : this script screw up prediction methods and Tok can abort telling too many tries are necessary.

Can you post the log of Tok please ?
